The Prince’s Foundation are involved in a partnership programme with the town of Ellon to provide a more

sustainable, people friendly development for the town.

As part of the programme the Scholars and Fellowes of the Prince’s Foundation (mix of young architects, planners and craftspeople) have been designing a pavilion for one of the parks in Ellon.

The training team comprised of a number of experts from throughout Scotland, and LTM provided the masonry training and technical advice during one week in July. Andrew Bradley was involved in a series of lectures and workshops in Ellon, where the students learned about traditional forms of construction and materials.

September/October will see the construction phase of the project taking place. See next quarters edition for their progress with this project.
