About Us

The LTM Group (Laing Traditional Masonry) was established in 1999 by Steven Laing as a masonry contractor specialising in the conservation, maintenance and repair of our built heritage. Steven’s focus on high quality skilled workmanship, using traditional building techniques has placed LTM at the forefront of the conservation industry. This expertise is reflected in the range of Clients and variety of Projects.

Over the years LTM has grown in both scale and stature to become not only one of the most respected, Multi-Award Winning masonry contractors but a leading several trades contractor. With satellite teams operating throughout Scotland and beyond, LTM provides professional, friendly solutions for customers requiring time honored expertise they can depend on. Whether as main contractor, specialist subcontractor or professional consultant, LTM develops cost-effective, pragmatic and holistic proposals to meet your requirements.

LTM’s continual expansion reflects the increasing demand for traditional building materials applied by skilled craftsmen, whether for Conservation Works or contemporary New Build construction.

Our Academy with its unique In-House Training Programme is geared towards producing the next generation of craftsmen and women, fully trained in the application and performance of traditional materials. This emphasis placed upon staff development is reflected in our Investors in People status and in the calibre and expertise of the Team.
