Employees may be 'Fast Tracked' based on assessment of their own craft skill levels, accomplishments and experience to date

TRAINING PROVIDED

Two week placement

C2 repair of traditional masonry

Conservation & repair of masonry ruins (West Deans College)

SKILLS GRADE OBJECTIVES

Extensive understanding of health and safety issues

Continuously demonstrate a complete understanding of lime production, their differences, use in traditional buildings and benefits over modern materials

Possess and maintain an extensive collection of adequate tools

Recording activities, working and philosophical views

Portfolio of evidence for completion of Grade A
