The Store Manager should have the potential to develop a sustainable business in the manufacture, supply and sales within a traditional materials store for the restoration and new build industry. Ideally they will have previously worked within a building materials store environment and have a proven record of achievement.
Good communication and financial understanding of buying and selling materials to and from stock is essential, and the ability to set up and run systems highly beneficial.
Web-based computer technology will enable the Store Manager to efficiently administer the operation and development of the stores.
Communicating with Management, Administration and Site Personnel as well as Clients and Suppliers is an essential part of the Store Manager's duties.
Prior knowledge of conservation and / or traditional masonry materials would also prove an essential quality of the Store Manager however excellent training will be provided.
